We want to see what you’re wearing on your nails!

Lauren Holmes, of Nailed It Beauty, wanted to celebrate her industry in the best way she knew – with nails, of course!

“On the 17th of February, I will have been self employed running Nailed It Beauty for four years,” Lauren beams. “It has been the best decision I have made in my life so far! I love any excuse for some themed nail art and what better theme than to celebrate four years in business?

“To create the look, I used shades from Gelish’s new collection, Fables & Fairytales – Magic Within, Once Upon a Mani, Not so Prince Charming, Let Your Hair Down and the Antique Top Coat.

“To create the look I started off with two coats of Antique Coat covering the full nail, making sure the coats were very thin. Then using Magic Within. I started slightly further away from my cuticle to create the reverse French look on all my nails minus my ring fingers. Once painted but before curing I used a dotting tool where needed to perfect the edges of the second colour. I also did two coats of this colour to ensure full coverage.

“For my ring finger, I painted a coat a white shade in the shape of a ‘4’ with a Gelish Mini Striper Brush then cured to create a bold outline. I then painted over it again with a thin coat of Magic Within to tie it in with my other nails. Once that was cured I used three of the other Fables & Fairytales colours to paint on sprinkles. I finished it off by painting on a flame to make it look like a candle. ”
