Step 1
Paint a white gel polish over a prepped nail to create the base. Cure. Use a dotting tool to apply brightly coloured gel polish dots in a circular shape on the nail.
Step 2
Using a gel polish base coat and brush, lightly drag the dots towards the centre of the nail to create a watercolour burst effect. Cure.
Step 3
Use a black gel polish and fine brush to paint a rounded, oval shape near the centre of the nail. Add curved black petals that extend downwards and a stem. Cure.
Step 4
Darken and slightly thicken the petals using the black gel polish, to create contrast against the vibrant background. Cure. Add a red gel polish line to outline one side of the stem and create dimension. Cure.
Step 5
Use a white gel polish and brush to lightly paint a shadow effect in the centre of the flower and on the petals. Cure.
Step 6
Use a fine liner brush and the black gel polish to paint thin lines radiating upwards from the centre of the flower, finishing each with a small dot. Cure.
Step 7
Apply a high-gloss top coat and cure to finish.
