Step 1

Apply chosen base colour.

Step 2

Place three dots as a guide in a triangle.

Step 3

Using a striper brush, draw two lines to join up the dots.

Step 4

Apply a horizontal line across the nail, creating an upside-down letter A.

Step 5

Draw the smile line, and curve the ‘corners’ of the letter A to round off the shape.

Step 6

Fill in and refine the smile line until you’re happy with the overall look.

Step 7

Add a top coat to finish the look.
