While working in London this week, I stepped into the DryBy London salon on Mortimer Street to experience a pedicure.

I was working in tandem with session stylist, Marian Newman, who suggested that DryBy was a salon experience that I really should explore.

Adored by consumer beauty editors owing to its slick services and central London location, DryBy has even collaborated with beauty expert, Alessandra Steinnherr, to reveal seasonal, fashion-forward nail art offerings. Now, it was my turn to visit.

The salon is exquisite and thoroughly understated with a very demure yet vintage and classic feel. The interior has been cleverly designed and conveys a chic yet seasoned and extremely mellow ambience.

Seated on a custom made pedi throne, my pedicure was relaxing and precise. It was a delicious and utterly different salon experience to that, which I’ve encountered before. It  projects its very own flavour and personality and was an extremely enjoyable and luxuriant time-out session in the centre of a bustling metropolis.
