Finalists announced in nail industry’s 11th Scratch Stars Awards

An overwhelming number of entries from were submitted into the 11th Scratch Stars Awards, which recognises passion, skill & customer care within the UK&I nail sector.

Nail techs, salon owners, mentors and educators submitted testimonials and imagery 1-28 February, and Monday 10 April revealed five finalists in each of the 18 categories.

These finalists will move to a second and final stage of the competition. Some may require additional information to be submitted, salons and mobile nailists will be ‘mystery shopped’ and techs in eight categories – including Gel Tech of the Year and Mixed Media Artist of the Year – will be required to showcase their skills at a competition day in London on 31 May.

Specialist judges picked by Scratch, alongside those put forward by sponsors, will score finalists on a number of criteria, and the winners will be revealed and presented with a trophy at The Scratch Stars Party in London on Sunday 23 July.
